KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 — Home Ministry (KDN) Registration and Organisation Division secretary Badrul Hisham Alias has been appointed as the new director-general of the National Registration Department (NRD) effective today.

PASIR MAS, March 8 — The Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (Maqis) is confident that the amendment to the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Act 2011 (Act 728) will enable the department to expand its jurisdiction, said Maqis director-general Saiful Yazan Alwi.
